Our honey from Vaudreuil-Soulanges

Our hives

Our 200 beehives are located in different places called apiary in small groups of 20 to 24 hives in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area. Between each apiary, there is a minimum distance of 3km. By doing so, bees have access to more honeycombs and do not compete. They make more honey easier!

Our honey is unpasteurized and is filtered slightly to remove impurities.

What is honey

Honey is a substance created by bees from nectar that they store to feed themselves throughout the year. Our role as a beekeeper? Ensure that bees have enough food and are healthy to survive the winter.

Help the bees

Please help us to take care of! Since the early 2000s, bee diseases and poisoning have followed one another to reach unprecedented mortality rates. It is said that a hive in the wild in Quebec cannot survive more than 24 months. In the early 1990s, a mortality of 10% was considered normal. Nowadays, we often hear about mortality rate of more than 30% and sometimes even 80%.

How to help them?

Faced with this new reality, people want to help bees. However, what if we do not know about beekeeping? Is buying a hive the best option?
