Caramel honey cookies

A perfect sweet and tender cookie with a caramel taste. What better way to impress the children or the visit, but you will have to double the recipe if you want to have some for yourself ;).

  • 1 1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tea spoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup caramel honey
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional


  • Put the rack in the center and preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Melt the caramel honey and the butter in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Add the egg and mix. Continue adding flour, baking soda. Then add the chocolate chips.
  • On a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper, place cookie dough balls of the desired size.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cookies are still soft in the center and golden on the outside.
