Sea buckthorn cookies

Do you have "Cookie monsters" at home? Here, we love cookies! So we had to make a recipe for the tastiest sea buckthorn cookies.

  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup pure 100% sea buckthorn juice
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon sea buckthorn powder
  • 3 tea spoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sifted sea buckthorn powder on top of cookies


  • Put the rack in the center and preheat your oven to 350°F. Cover 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  • In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar, then add the eggs and sea buckthorn juice.
  • Once well mixed, add the flour, salt, rolled oats, baking powder and sea buckthorn powder. Mix well.
  • For more decadence, you can add chocolate chips.
  • Using spoons, form balls of dough and distribute them on the plates, spacing them out.
  • Using a sieve, sprinkle the sea buckthorn powder on top of the cookies before baking.
  • Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or cold.
